Frida Hansen is a Norwegian architect and artist based in Oslo
She works in a multitude of media on ideas surrounding space, memory and the everyday. In her paintings, she combines embroidery with acrylic paint on natural fibers to form imagery that exists on the periphery of the everyday and remembered world. Through model making and design she also works with three dimensional pieces exploring urbanism and domesticity.
In 2021, she obtained a Master in Architecture (MArch) from Architectural Association in London UK and has since been based in Nice and Oslo where she is co-founder of interior architecture and design company Hansen Knutsen Architecture.
